Character Creation
Shadows of Cincinnati is a Camarilla vampire chronicle and
as such has these guidelines for character creation. We use
Laws of the Night: Revised, The Camarilla Guide and The
Sabbat Guide for character creation.
1. All player characters are subject to approval by the
Head Storyteller.
2. Player characters may be humans, ghouls or vampires.
Vampires and ghouls should be of the Brujah, Gangrel,
Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere or Ventrue clans or
caitiff.
3. Caitiff player characters may choose any three
disciplines at character creation to be designated in-clan
for purposes of experience and teaching. They may choose
these disciplines from the eight most common disciplines
(Auspex, Animalism, Celerity, Dominate, Fortitude, Obfuscate, Potence
and Presence). Caitiff may not have Thaumaturgy as an
in-clan discipline.
4. No Player character may start on any path of
enlightenment except humanity at the beginning of play
without Head Storyteller approval.
5. Merits and Flaws are especially subject to Head
Storyteller approval.
6. All material presented in the revised clanbooks is
subject to Head Storyteller approval.
